Shaw's in New Harbor has been a favorite place for shore dinners for as long as I can remember. Located right on the harbor, you can watch the lobstermn unloading their catch on the dock from the raised deck where you sit at a picnic table to eat your dinner.
For movie buffs - Message in a Bottle:
Did you see the movie "Message in a Bottle"? If so, you have seen Shaw's in the scene that was filmed in New Harbor. You may not have recoginsed it however as it was painted white for the movie. Before the movie, Shaw's was painted red. They wanted it white for the movie. Part of the agreement was that they had to paint it red again when they finished filming.
